How to read a facial measurement
A ratio describes a relationship in a photograph. It does not tell you whether a feature should change.
Start with the definition
Before interpreting a value, ask which landmarks it uses and which distance appears in the denominator. Two tools can use similar names for different measurements. A number without a definition is difficult to compare.
Separate description from preference
A descriptive range can classify proportions without identifying an attractive ideal. Classical drawing conventions are another kind of reference entirely. FaceFluent’s preview reports estimates without assigning good or bad labels.
Choose the right next question
Ask how photo conditions could affect the estimate and whether it has any useful connection to your goal. If the goal is a haircut or a clearer photograph, a precise ratio may add little to a practical decision.
