Methodology

Methods
and limitations

FaceFluent separates photo measurements from the judgment involved in choosing a useful next step. Neither is an objective verdict on your appearance.

The free preview

The preview runs MediaPipe Face Landmarker on your device and calculates nine descriptive measurements: canthal tilt, facial width-to-height ratio, jaw-to-cheek ratio, midface proportion, nose-to-inner-eye spacing, mouth-to-nose ratio, facial index, lower-third proportion, and mirrored-landmark deviation. These are estimates from a two-dimensional image.

Model output points are not independent aesthetic assessments. The preview does not infer ethnicity, assess demographic percentiles, diagnose conditions, or combine measurements into an attractiveness score.

Measurement quality

Photo size, camera perspective, head pose, lighting, expression, and landmark errors affect the result. The preview checks whether a face is present and rejects some unsuitable poses and sizes. Passing those checks does not establish accuracy. We have not completed a clinical validation or a population calibration study for this service.

Reference ranges in the measurement code include descriptive categories and classical drawing conventions. They should not be treated as ideal targets. The interface therefore reports raw estimates without good/bad labels.

The paid assessment

Your reviewer reads your goals and preferences, checks your three photos, and writes a focused grooming and style plan. Each priority explains an observation, a suggested action, why it fits your goals, an alternative, and a limitation. References are shown with the recommendation. Preference-based suggestions are identified as such.

The reviewer must claim the case and complete a checklist before publishing. Corrections create a new report version. A reviewer is not represented as a physician unless independently qualified and explicitly identified; this service does not provide medical care.

What evidence means here

A source can explain a measurement or provide context without proving that a recommendation will help a particular person. We distinguish those claims. A photograph cannot establish a medical condition, a person’s health, or a guaranteed response to a change.

Data and consent

The free preview stays on your device. The paid service uses separately consented private uploads. Read the privacy policy for retention and deletion.
